Only seven days to go.  ALT is playing host to Adventure Leadership Cleveland Ohio www.adventureleadership.org  Jim Cole and his group of five students will be involved in outdoor activities, seminars and a work day with Belfast BB at their Ganaway Centre in Millisle. 
Sport For All Leader Award

Friday 28th February, 2003

Sports for All Leaders Award was a great success. All seven who went forward from ALT passed their assessment. Congrads to Angela Beggs, Angie McKeown, Graeme Kerr, Kirk Lendrum, Michael Fisher, Natasha Whitley and William Adair. To complete their certificate each has to complete 5 hours in the community. So go for it guys!! We wish to say thank you to Raymond Shannon, who was course leader, for running a very professional course. Thank you also to the BB House for the invite.

Congratulations to Aimee Currans who has achieved a  Basic Food Hygiene certificate from Lurgan College.  We look forward to tasting Aimee's cooking some week-end.
Rally Arura 2004

GO4LIFE Rally Arura 2004 is on Jan 3rd - 11th, and will be held at Totara Springs Christian Centre, Matamata, New Zealand. They are happy to provide a five day post Arura tour for overseas visitors if there is sufficient interest. This promises to be a trip of a lifetime. Interested!! ALT Auction update

The first ALT auction was held on Friday November 22 in Scrabo Hall Newtownards. It was a great night of fun and fellowship. Alan Newell, our auctioneer did a great job and we raised £2030. We wish to thank all those who donated items, promises and gave of their time on the night to make the evening the success it was. Thank you also to Beth Reid of Spring Cottage Crafts and Eric McKillan of Organic Woodcrafts who set up displays.
2004 trip to Minnesota

Summer 2004 ALT is arranging a 10 day canoeing trip to YMCA Menogyn in the Minnesota Boundary Waters USA.  The cost will be in the region of £1200.  If you are interested please let me know. 
USA student group to visit ALT next year

A group of students and their Campus Pastor, Jim Cole from Cleveland Uni Ohio USA are coming to visit us in March 2003.  ALT has arranged a multi-activity week which will include hiking in the Mourne and Wicklow Mountains.
Star kayakers gain star awards
